I was invited to attend Minnesota's 5th Annual Major Music
Event of 2008, as one of the inductees into the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame. It was held at the Medina
Entertainment Center on May 2nd and 3rd. Many of my dearest friends were also honored at that time; Ipso Facto, Jeanne
Arland Peterson and the Peterson Family, Michael Johnson, Dr. Mambo's Combo members which featured Margaret
Cox (who also recorded as TaMara), Cynthia Johnson (Funkytown) and myself, Mike Glieden & the Rhythm Kings, Judd, Bob
and Dale Strength, Lynn Anderson, Liz and Casey Anderson, the Chancellors, Whiskey River, Curtiss A, Keith Zeller, Jim Greenwell,
Don Roberts Formanek, Jerry LeMire, Kenny Schossow and Jordan Gish and others.
It was great fun to see my old
friends again and reminisce about the memories we shared.
I've posted a few of the pictures taken and hope you enjoy them.

I'm with David Eiland and JuJu Mcfarland members of Ipso Facto, the
hottest raggae sound in the midwest.

And this is Wain Mcfarland, also of Ipso Facto.

I'm singing with Dr. Mambo's Combo once again and it
felt good!

Michael Johnson of Bluer than Blue fame and Melba

Country star Lynn Anderson, I Never Promised You A Rose Garden,
and I holding a beautiful pink guitar which was being auctioned on behalf of the Breast Cancer Association.

Cynthia Johnson of Funkytown fame and I, together at the Award ceremonies.

Timmer Emerson, founder of Dr Mambos Combo, me and Bobby Vandell

P J Peterson, aka Paul, from the Kenny Loggins band and Patty Peterson who now has her own
talk show on Sirius radio. Oh, yes, and I'm in the middle.

Here is one of the many versions through the years of Dr. Mambo's
Combo.

Melanie and Rocky Robbins.
